Chelsea v Manchester City
Wednesday 5th April 2017
21:00 Kick off Live on BT Sport 1
Manchester City travel to Stamford Bridge for their 157th meeting with The Blues, of those 156 matches Chelsea have won 65 games and Man City have won 52 games with them fighting out 40 draws.
In their last clash on the 3rd December last year, an own goal from Gary Cahill saw The Blues losing 1 nil at half time however second half goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Edan Hazard secured a win for Chelsea.
Chelsea have been in fine form of late winning 5 and losing just 1 of their last 6. It was their last game against Crystal Palace where they suffered that loss, a 2-1 home defeat.
Man City’s form has been far more erratic winning 2, drawing 3 and losing 1 of their last 6 in all. Last time out was a 2-2 draw away at the Emirates against a struggling Arsenal.
Chelsea currently sit top of the pile but their lead was cut to just 7 points last weekend so they will be hoping to at least maintain that here.
Man City currently find themselves in 4th place at the moment but a win here could take them above Liverpool into 3rd place.
Chelsea have a few injury concern but the biggest is Moses who suffered a toe injury on the weekend and may miss out on this one.
Man City are missing the same 3 players in Bacary Sagna, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan.
If Diego Costa scores in this it will be his 50th Premier League goal for Chelsea.
Sergio Aguero has score 10 of his 14 league goals away from home this season.
Chelsea are slight favourites for this and can be backed with Bet365 @ 7/5. Man City are @ 57/25 with Marathon Bet and the draw is @ 5/2 with a few firms including Ladbrokes.
I think Chelsea are over priced @ the 7/5 and I will be putting my money there.
