These two have met 123 times in their past and it is probably tighter than you would expect between them. Man Utd have won 58, they have drawn 21 and Burnley have won 44 times.

Despite their good record against Man Utd, Burnley have only managed to win 1 of their last 22 meetings against the “Red Devils”, last time out they did manage great 0-0 draw at old Trafford at the end of October.

Burnley have been in pretty poor form of late winning 1, drawing 2 and losing 3 of their last 6. Last time was a 3-1 away defeat at Goodison park by a good Everton side.

Man Utd have been in fairly good form of late winning 3 and drawing 3 of their last 6 in all competitions. Last time was 2-1 home win over Anderlecht in the Europa League, which has put them through to the semi finals.

Burnley currently sit in 14th place on 36 points and are not quite safe yet, a win here would probably secure Premier league football next season and could move them as high as 11th place depending on other results.

Man Utd currently sit in 5th place in the league but they do have games in hand on the teams above them. A win here will take them within 1 point of the top 4.

Burnley are almost at full fitness, they just have doubts over the fitness of Scott Arfield who has a hamstring problem and Sam Vokes also has a tight hamstring.

Man Utd’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out with a knee problem. Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling, Phill Jones and Juan Mata are all doubtful.

Burnley have only conceded 1 goal to Manchester United in their last 4 meetings at Turf Moor and that was back in 1976.

Man Utd’s unbeaten Premier League run of 22 games is the longest within a single season since their own 2010/2011 season of 24.

Man Utd are favourites for this @ 7/10 with a few firms including William Hill, the draw is @ 3/1 with bet365 and Burnley are @ 21/4 with Bet Victor.

I think Burnley could snatch a draw here considering Utd have so many injury problems and they only played Thursday night.
