Crystal Palace V Watford

This will be the 115th match between these two. It is pretty even between the pair with Palace just shading it with 47 wins to Watford’s 41, they have also drawn 26 times.

They last met on Boxing Day at Vicarage Road and they shared the points that day. Yohan Cabaye put the visitors ahead in the 26th minute and Troy Deeney equalised from the spot in the 71st minute.

Palace have picked up their form of late, they have won 3 and lost 3 of their last 6. They have won their last 2 in a row including last time out when they went to high flying West Brom and beat them 2-0 at their own ground.

Watford haven’t been great of late winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 3. Last time out they lost at home 4-3 to Southampton and they have now failed to win in their last 3.

Palace striker Remy is ruled out and Patrick Van Aanholt has still not recovered from his ankle problem

The only doubt for Watford is Etienne Capoue who has been suffering from a fever this week.

Palace are favourites for this and can be backed @ 19/20 with a few firms including PaddyPower. Watford 18/5 with a few including Bet365, the draw is 5/2 with most firms including Coral.

I believe Palace have turned a bit of a corner and can see them winning this one.

Everton V Hull City

These two have only met 22 times previously, Everton have won 9 of them, Hull 7 and they have drawn 6 times.

When they met earlier this season at the end of December the fought out a very entertaining 2-2 draw at the KCOM Stadium. Central defender Michael Dawson put Hull ahead in the 6th minute but they conceded an own goal right on the stroke of half time through David Marshall so they went in at the break at 1-1. Snodgrass put Hull back in front on the 65th minute only to be pegged back again through an 84th minute goal from Ross Barkley.

Everton have been in pretty good form of late winning 3, drawing 2 and losing 1. last time out they beat West Brom who where their closest chasers in the league, they didn’t just beat them they battered them 3-0.

Everton will be without midfielder James McCarthy through a hamstring issue, Besic is also struggling for match fitness following a long lay off.

Hull with still be without Michael Dawson, Dieumerci Mbokani and Ryan Mason, Markus Henriksenis back but this game may be slightly too soon for him to feature.

Everton are @ 8/15 with a few firms including Sky Bet, the draw is @ 7/2 with Bet365 and Hull are @ 13/2 with most including Bet365.

I think Hulls improving form gives them a shout here, you can get Hull & the draw @ 17/10 with Coral.

Stoke City V Chelsea

These two have met 98 times in the past, as expected Chelsea have the better record winning 46, Stoke have won 30 and they have drawn 22 times.

Last time they met was on New Years eve and Chelsea put on a commanding performance, winning 4-2. They went ahead through Gary Cahill just after the half hour mark. Martins Indy pulled one back for stoke just after the break and then Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Willian managed 2 goals in a minute just before the hour mark. Peter Crouch pulled one back for Stoke to make it 3-2 but the points were confirmed by Diego Costa in the 85th minute to end a cracking game.

Stoke have been in OK form lately; winning 2, drawing 2 and losing 2 of their last 6. Last time out they managed to hold Manchester City to a 0-0 draw at the Etihad to take a very good point.

Chelsea’s impressive form continues, they are unbeaten in their last 6 winning 5 and drawing 1. Last time they managed a 1-0 win over Manchester United at home.

Stoke have just one major injury concern and that is Glen Johnson who is struggling with a shoulder problem. They can expect returns from a number of players.

Victor Moses had to be subbed in his last match but is expected to be OK for this and Chelsea have no other major concerns.

Chelsea are generally a 4/6 chance to win this but you can get 7/10 with Betway. The draw is generally an 11/4 chance but you can get 31/10 with Betwin and Stoke are best with Betfred @ 11/2.

I think Stoke are a very big price @ 11/2 at home and they have proven already this season they can give anyone a game on their day so I am going to put a small bet on the 11/2.

Sunderland V Burnley

This will be the 116th time these two have met in their history. Sunderland have won 46 of them games, Burnley 38 and they have drawn 31 times.

They have already met 3 times this season prior to this. They have drawn once and Burnley have won the other two, one in the league and one in the FA Cup knocking Sunderland out last time in a replay following a 0-0. In the replay Sam Volkes and Andre Gray’s second half goals were enough to give Burnley the victory.

Sunderland have been in poor form of late, in their last 6 matches they have lost 4, drawn 1 and only managed 1 win. Last time out they were beaten 2-0 at home by Man City.

Burnley’s form has been even worse than Sunderland’s of late losing 4 and drawing 2. Last time out they lost 2-1 to Liverpool at Anfield which was a spirited performance but tey couldn’t hold on to a point.

Sunderland’s Steven Pienaar is still struggling with a calf problem and Jan Kirchhoff has been ruled out for another month.

Johann Berg Gudmundsonn and Dean Marney are both still struggling with knee injuries and wont be available for the trip to Sunderland.

With both teams in such poor form it’s tough this one but the bookies have the home sideas slight favourites and are generally around 6/4 but can be backed @ 13/8 with Unibet, Burnley are a 21/10 chance with BetVictor and the draw is generally a 9/4 chance but is as big as 40/17 with Unibet.

I think this one has draw written all over it and I don’t think either side would be disappointed with a point.

West Ham United V Leicester City

These two have met 127 times previously, West Ham have won 51 times, Leicester 46 and they have drawn 30 times in total.

Last time was on New Years eve at the King Power Stadium and Leicester managed a 1-0 win through an Islam Slimani 20 minute winner.

West Ham’s form has been poor of late winning just 1, drawing 2 and losing 3 of their last 6. Last time out was another defeat in the hands Bournemouth who managed to win 3-2 against the Hammers.

Leicester are in better recent form, they have won 3 and lost 3 of their last 6 but have won their last 3 in a row including a huge 2-0 win over Spanish side Sevilla to get them through to the last 8 in European football’s greatest competition.

Just one injury problem for West Ham but it is a big one as their captain Mark Noble has been ruled out because of a dead leg. Leicester only injury concern is Mendy who is still expected to be out.

Despite their recent poor form the bookies still have West Ham as favourites and they are 29/20 with most firms including William Hill. The draw is @ 13/5 with Betsttars and Leicester around the 2/1 mark but can be backed with Marathon bet @ 85/40.

I think Leicester are and a massive wave at the moment and can see it continuing here so my money will be on them.
