FC Porto came through Group G as runners-up behind the English Champions Leicester City. Porto managed 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss finishing on 11 points 2 points behind Leicester. FC Porto have a real scrap on in Primeira Liga, they are currently in 2nd just 1 point behind rivals Benfica. They are 9 points ahead of 3rd place Sporting.

Last time out they beat bottom of the league Tondela 4-0. Silva put Porto ahead in the first half, Tondela were then reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half time. In the 2nd half goals from Nevas, Soares and Jota completed the scoring.

Recently Porto have been boosted by the end of their injury crisis and currently they have a fully fit squad ahead of this tie.

Juventus ran out winners of Group H, they are unbeaten in this seasons competition winning 4 and drawing 2 finishing on 14 points, 3 points clear of runners-up Sevilla.

Juventus look like run away winners in Serie A this season, they are currently top of the league and are currently 7 points clear of nearest rivals Roma.

Last time out in the league Juventus were run away winners against Palermo winning 4-1. First half goals from Marchioso and Dybala set Juventus on their way, Higuain and a 2nd from Dybala sealed the scoring for Juventus before Palerno got a stoppage time conselation goal through Chochev.

Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini remain doubts for Juventus after missing that win over Palermo on the weekend, they are boosted however by the return of Pjanic who is expected to make an appearance.

One of the best 1 v 1’s of this whole round has to be the clash of 2 of arguably 2 of the best goal keepers of our generation. Iker Casillas and Gianluigi Buffon go head to head in this one.

Both sides have won all of their last 6 matches on the bounce so something has to give.

This is a very tough one to call but the bookies have Juventus as favourites, they are best price @13/10 with a lot of the big firms. The draw can be backed @9/4 with Paddy Power and Porto are @13/5 with a couple of the firms to win here.

My money is on a draw here and as I am an old romantic I am going to have a small bet on 0-0 and hope both of these goalkeeping legends can keep a clean sheet, 0-0 is best priced @7/1 with Betstars.
