Arsenal V Hull City

Saturday 11th February 2017
12.30pm Kick Off

Arsenal have met Hull City on just 25 occasions and predictably they come out on top winning 17 of the games, Hull have won just 3 times and they have drawn on 5 occasions.

Arsenal are unbeaten in the last 13 times the teams have met winning 11 and drawing two. They also won the reverse fixture at the KCOM stadium 4-1. A first half goal from Alexis Sanchez put the Gunners in front, they then scored another 3 goals in the 2nd half from Theo Walcott, Sanchez again and a late one from Granit Xhaka who came of the bench. Hull managed a consolation goal through Robert Snodgrass.

Arsenal have had a couple of tough results recently, losing at home 2-1 to Watford at home and losing 3-1 away at leaders Chelsea. Prior to those results they had won 4 in a row in all competitions including a 5-0 thumping of Southampton in the F.A Cup.

Hull City have been in much better form recently winning 3 of their last 6 matches including last time out when they beat high flying Liverpool 2-0. Prior to that they also went to Old Trafford and fought out a well earned point against Man Utd.

Arsenal are now down in 4th position following recent defeats but a win here and a large goal difference swing could see them go above rivals Tottenham into 2nd place.

Hull City have moved up a couple of places in recent weeks and are in 18th place just 1 point from getting out of the bottom 3. A win here could take them as high as 15th place.

Arsene Wenger has said he is not surprised by Hull’s recent good form and believes they have been unlucky sometimes throughout the season. He admitted his Arsenal team are in for a tough test.

In his press conference Marco Silva has asked for even more from his Hull side ahead of this weekends game saying they haven’t won anything yet.

Arsenal are best price @3/10 with Bet Fred and Stan James. You can get the draw @5/1 with Stan James and Hull are as big as @11/1 with a few of the big firms.

Due to Hull’s good recent form and Arsenal struggling I will be having a small bet on Hull @11/1 and I will back Hull and The draw on the double chance market @29/10 with Bet Victor.
