Italy Serie A Torino V AC Milan PREVIEW
20:45 KO, Monday 16th January 2016, Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino
Match available on BT Sport Europe
As far as the Serie A goes this year, it’s reassuring to see it’s a closer title chase than it’s been in recent years with total Juventus dominance over the table. Where as most of you are familiar with AC Milan from their glory years, others may not have heard of Torino outside of their signing of England’s goalkeeper Joe Hart.
These two sides met last Thursday 12th Jan in the Coppa Italia with Milan coming through on top with a 2 – 1 win despite Torino going ahead with a 27th minute Belotti goal. Having said that it was quite an even sided affair with both sides sharing in attempts on goal and chances and Milan only edging ahead on possession.
This will be Torino’s first home game for 2017 and they’re unbeaten at home this season with the exception of a 3 – 1 loss to Juventus back on 11th December 2016. So be under no illusions, Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino is a tough place to visit and Torino are a hard opposition to break down on home turf.
Torino are currently @29/20 best price with PP for match betting, whereas you can get the draw @23/10 with most bookies. Both teams to score is a good shout and top price of @7/10 with Coral.
AC Milan are @2/1 with most firms but you can find @21/10 at the time of writing, just shop around as per. It may seem like a big price but I wouldn’t be convinced by it, a good AC Milan sided bet would be for their Colombian hit man Bacca to score anytime best priced @9/5 with Coral and Ladbrokes.
Personally I’d be looking for the draw in this game.
