Burnley V Sunderland

Following a massive 1-0 win last time out over Middlesbrough, Burnley will be full of confidence going into another proverbial 6 pointer this week against Sunderland. If Burnley win they will go 9 points clear of the relegation zone, which would be a big step to achieving their goal of Premier League safety this season.

Sunderland come here following a drumming at Old Trafford to a rampant Man Utd who scored 3 but actually had 26 shots on goal to Sunderland’s 7. Sunderland need to find some form and a win here could propel them out of the bottom 3 for at least 24 hours.

Burnley do have a decent record against teams around them in the league and we think they can follow suit here with a victory, you can get @29/20 with William Hill to win in 90 minutes, or you can back Burnley HT/FT @4/1 with Paddy Power if you are looking for value. The draw can be backed @23/10 with BetFred and BetVictor or if you fancy Sunderland they can also be backed @23/10 with various companies.

Chelsea V Stoke

Chelsea continue their fine form, their last victims was Bournemouth who they seen off comfortably with a 3-0 victory. Even without their goal scoring machine Costa who was out suspended they scored through Pedro, Hazard and a late own goal from cook sealed the result. With Costa due back in the side this could be ominous for Stoke who themselves took a bit of a beating this week from an inform Liverpool who came from a goal behind to beat Stoke 4-1.

I expect Chelsea to win this comfortably and they’re priced at @2/7 to do so with most firms. We fancy goals so you can back Chelsea to win with over 2.5 goals in the match @5/6 with Corals and Paddy Power. If you fancy the draw you can get @11/2 with Bet365 and Stoke are also best priced with Bet365 @13/1.

Leicester V West Ham

The Champions have had a torrid start to the season and things did not improve this week after losing at home to Everton, they never looked like winning the game and they struggled for ideas going forward.

West Ham however seemed to have turned a corner winning the last 3 premier league matches including this weeks 4-1 drumming away at Swansea.

I fancy West Ham to pour more misery on the King Power stadium and are @29/10 with Bet Victor to do so. The draw can be backed @13/5 with most companies and Leicester are @11/10 with various companies.

Man Utd V Middlesbrough

The Red devils go into this tie looking for a 6th straight premier league win, last time out they were unstoppable against Sunderland cruising to a 3-0 lead before Sunderland pulled back a late consolation goal.

The highlight of the match had to be Mkhitaryan’s scorpion kick back heeled goal which will surely be a contender for goal of the season.

Middlesbrough will be fairly pleased with the start they have made to the season but recent results may be of concern, especially last time out when they struggled to get anything going against Burnley at Turf Moor. They will need to improve massively if they want to get anything at Old Trafford.

Man Utd are @1/4 with most companies but we fancy Utd on the handicap – 1 goal @4/5 with Bet365 and StanJames. The draw can be backed @5/1 with numerous companies and Middlesbrough are as big as @16/1 with William Hills if you fancy an upset.

Southampton V West Brom

The Saints will be looking to bounce back from a thundering defeat last time out at home to Tottenham, Southampton could not have started better with a 3rd minute goal by centre back Van Dijk, that that was the end of the good times, Ali equalised in the 19th minute then in the 2nd half Harry Kane put Spurs 2-0 up. Southampton were reduced to 10 men and although Spurs missed the resulting penalty they went on to score 2 more and condemn the Saints to a huge home defeat.

West Brom, who have been flying high this season, find themselves in a bit of a sticky patch with 3 straight defeats they are now in 9th place and needing to stem the rot, unfortunately I don’t think they will stop the rot here. I think the Saints can bounce back here and are @4/5 with William Hill and BetFred to do so. The draw can be backed @27/10 with Bet365 West Brom are @9/2 with various companies.

Swansea V Bournemouth

Following another huge defeat at the hands of West Ham, Swansea’s future looks bleak and they need something to give them hope. they have lost 3 in a row now and sacked their recently appointed manager.

Bournemouth have had a couple of tough ties recently including the recent 3-0 defeat to leaders Chelsea but can bounce back here against the manager less Swans and we fancy them to do so, they can be backed @13/8 with William Hills to win the game. The draw is @5/2 with StanJames and hapless Swansea can be backed @19/10 with Bet365.

Liverpool V Man City

Easily the pick of the games is the evening kick off between high flying Liverpool and Man City. Both sides are playing chase to leaders Chelsea, Liverpool are in 2nd and City in 3rd with just 1 point separating them.

Liverpool won last time out against Stoke, Stoke started well going 1-0 but the failed to convert a 2nd and Liverpool steam rolled them in the end winning 4-1. City Themselves struggled at Hull for over an hour before going 1 in front, once they nosed ahead Hull fell apart and City scored another 2 to run out 3-0 winners.

Sergio Aguero courtesy of soccer.ru

Sergio Aguero is expected to return following his ban which will be a huge boost for City. Liverpool are slight favorites @7/5 with a number of firms. City are best price @21/10 with Bet365 and William Hills but I fancy the draw which is best priced @13/5 with various companies. If you fancy Aguero to score on his return he is @4/1 for first goal or @11/10 to score anytime with most firms.
